Walking with purpose

Walking with purpose

Last weekend’s post was late due to loss of my sanity  camera.  I blame it on the camera, but truthfully, I just didn’t have the time!  Thankfully it was just in the hubby’s truck and not actually loss.  I love that little point and click.  This past Saturday, our family took a break from the packing and just chilled.  It was everything we hoped it would be and more!  At this point, I would say we are about 75% ready to put our house on the market.  So what did we do with our Saturday?   A little bit of everything!  We started out by wearing a little pink and taking the dogs to a “Making Strides Walk”.  It was a lot of fun and there was so much energy.  I love taking those rascals to events like this.  They always end up with lots of smiles and pats.  Max was really freaked out with the large crowd, but Mini loves it all!

I try to get them out as much as possible.  I love walking with them and getting them out to explore with me.  The coast is really pet friendly too!  After this, we went home and just vegged out.  I mean really just chilling and hanging out.  I did make an awesome ‘nanner puddin’.  But since it is a dessert, I don’t count it as work.  Check it out this beauty:

Layer it and go!  This was just a quick take away for a work party we had later that evening.  The pineapples really elevate it.  I don’t know what it is, but it makes it special.

The little girl insisted on going fishing before the party, so we left a little early to get some water time in.  How can we say no to fishing on a lazy Saturday?  Did I mention that I love October here?  The hubby is still wearing flip-flops and shorts.

For those wondering, we are at a Marina on the Back bay of Biloxi.  We didn’t catch anything while out there.  It was a little too windy and choppy out on the water.  It was really beautiful, and I had a chance to practice using my fancy camera a bit.  I really need to take a class for this thing, but haven’t had a chance to commit to a local course.  In the mean time “Google!” .  What a great day of doing nothing!

Love this boat! And the little owl on it too!
